Status. This is Strimeta's operational legal documentation prepared for launch. Mandatory law prevails over contractual text. Because international privacy, tax, consumer and platform rules change, the regional launch gates and vendor list must be re-checked before entering a new market or materially changing the product.
This register distinguishes subprocessors that may process Customer Personal Data on Strimeta's behalf from independent service providers/controllers.
A. Subprocessors / processing vendors
Contabo GmbH
- Purpose: production hosting, compute, storage and infrastructure; production-side backup storage.
- Default location: EU/EEA data centre required by the launch profile; exact country must be recorded on the live register before production launch.
- Data: Customer/community metadata, account data, logs and encrypted backups as necessary to operate Strimeta.
- Safeguard: Article 28 DPA/vendor processing terms; transfer mechanism if a non-EEA location or remote access creates a restricted transfer.
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS / the applicable Brevo group contracting entity)
- Purpose: transactional/service email delivery.
- Data: recipient email, display name where needed, template variables strictly necessary for the message, delivery/bounce metadata.
- Location: primary contractual/service location to be confirmed in the live vendor record; EU-based service is preferred.
- Configuration: marketing is separate; open/click tracking disabled by default unless lawfully enabled.
- Safeguard: current Brevo DPA and subprocessor list.
Seznam.cz, a.s.
- Purpose: human-operated business/support/legal mailbox infrastructure.
- Data: email addresses, message content and attachments sent to/from Strimeta mailboxes.
- Location: Czech Republic / locations stated in Seznam's applicable service terms.
- Safeguard: applicable contractual/privacy terms; DPA or equivalent where Seznam acts as processor for the selected service.
B. Independent controller / banking provider
Fio banka, a.s.
Fio provides Strimeta's bank account and banking infrastructure. For core regulated banking operations, Fio acts under its own legal obligations and is treated as an independent controller rather than a Strimeta subprocessor. Strimeta may retrieve transaction information through Fio API solely to reconcile payments and invoices.
Strimeta minimises imported banking data to transaction identifier/reference, amount, currency, date, payment/variable symbol, payer reference/name where supplied and necessary, and matched invoice identifier. Full bank statements are not retained in the product merely because the API makes them available.
C. Customer-selected third-party platforms
Discord, Discourse and other platforms connected by a Customer are not automatically Strimeta subprocessors. They are third-party services selected/authorised by the Customer and may act as independent controllers or processors under their own terms. Strimeta's connector processes data received from them under the Customer's instructions.
D. Operator-controlled backup locations
The Provider's personal workstation and NAS used for encrypted off-site backups are not third-party subprocessors because they are directly controlled by the Provider. They are subject to the same access-control, encryption, retention and incident rules as other Strimeta infrastructure.
E. Change procedure
Before adding a new material subprocessor, Strimeta records its role, purpose, data, location, transfer mechanism and security terms and gives notice to Customers where the DPA or applicable law requires it.
